Matchmaking at Avant Première 2022 - how does it work?
A 1:1 matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners in virtual face-2-face talks. 20 minutes run fast but it is enough to build first connections.

1:1 Matchmaking is available all day long from 09:00-18:00 CET.
1) Registration
- Register via the green "Register now" button or log in to your existing profile.
- During the registrations process, check your available time slots for matchmaking. You can edit these anytime in the profile setting "My availability".
- If you haven't signed up for Matchmaking during registration, you can easily do so in the Agenda or in the profile setting "My availability".
- Turn on "Available for messaging" in the Account Settings on your profile.
2) Publish a business profile to showcase your needs
Create a clear and concise business profile to raise your visibility on this platform.
- Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners and who you want to meet.
- Upload a photo.
- Complete the "Area of Activity" tags suitable to your business. It allows other attendees to find you faster by using these filters - and vice versa.
- A good profile will generate significantly more meeting requests. Your profile will be visible before, during and after the event.
3) Browse profiles of attendees
- Find out who is offering interesting and promising business opportunities.
- Speakers from the Conference Programme as well as experts from the One-on-One Expert Sessions can be accessed quickly through the menu "Speakers" (coming soon)
4) Send & receive meeting requests
- Be active, not reactive.
- Browse published participants profiles (coming soon)
- Send meeting requests to those you want to meet at the event. Adding a meaningful remark why you are interested in a meeting will increase the chance that your request will be accepted.
5) Booking Rules
- Everybody can send meeting requests to everyone!
- A participant will send a meeting request and the other participant has to select a time slot when accepting the meeting.
6) Matchmaking Event
- Shortly before the event you will receive your preliminary meeting schedule by e-mail.
- Matchmaking is available all day long from 14-17 February, 09:00-18:00 CET.
- Your meetings are automatically scheduled in your personal Agenda. Simply click on the green button when your meeting time has arrived.
